The eye care industry is full of eye- and glasses-based branding. So, when the request came in to create something different, on-trend, true to the industry and with incorporate a buffalo, a huge brainstorming session was in store.
Prairie View Eye Care was based out of Manhattan, KS, so a silhouette of a buffalo standing over the Flint Hills seemed a good start. Adding a monocle created a different way to represent the industry with a sort of higher-end feel, and the badge-like frame wrapped the logo for easy placement on multiple locations. The small addition of arrows stayed on the trend of country chic branding, and also allowed for a nice pattern to business cards and other accent pieces.
